Ozella J. Foster-Robinson
Founder/C.E.O.
Ozella J. Foster-Robinson was educated in the St. Louis, MO public school system. Presently she holds Missouri State Licenses as a Practical Nurse, Funeral Director, Preneed Provider, Preneed Consultant and Preneed Agent. Ozella is also a Missouri State Licensed Insurance Provider. She is a graduate of Fontbonne University of Clayton, MO with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
She began her professional career working with her brother, Theodore “Ted” Foster, Sr., President of Ted Foster and Son’s Funeral Homes, Inc. His teachings initiated her valuable learning experiences in the funeral business with the highest standards of care throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. Under his watch, Ozella was rewarded the privilage of working with thousands of bereaved families that created everlasting and treasured relationships.
While working as a Licensed Funeral Director at Ted Foster and Sons, Inc., she served as the Director of Operations for American Prearranged Service, Inc. of Jefferson City, MO (APS, Inc.). Consequently as the prearranged funeral consultant for APS, Inc., more extensive relationships were developed while reaching out to people inside and outside the St. Louis City and County communities. She took great honor and pride in helping the aging, medically confined, disabled and less fortunate citizens make their wishes known to their families. She considered this ministry a mega blessing in her career.
In April of 2008, with a heavy heart and deep regret, Ozella realized that the sudden loss of the Ted Foster and Sons Funeral Homes left behind a devastating void in St. Louis City and County. One felt in the hearts and minds of many. The Foster Legacy that had served the community for over 30 inclusive years had vanished overnight.
As a result of the ramifications of these closings, Foster’s Services For Funerals, LLC opened for business in November of 2008. We are registered and licensed by the state of Missouri to do a complete funeral service. In February of 2009 the business was registered as d/b/a/ Ozella J. Foster Funeral Services.
